Tooth care for teens

Okay, so here’s the deal. Taking care of your teeth isn’t just about avoiding cavities (though that is a big one). It’s also about fresh breath, a clean smile, and not spending hours at the dentist.

Here’s what you actually need to do:

  • Brush 2x a day (morning + night) for 2 minutes. Use a soft(or hard) toothbrush and toothpaste with fluoride (it helps protect your teeth).

  • Floss once a day. Yes, it’s annoying. Do it anyway—it keeps your gums healthy and your breath way better.

  • Switch out your toothbrush every 1.5 months, or sooner if it looks rough.

  • Go to the dentist twice a year. It’s way easier to deal with stuff early than wait until something hurts. Trust me.

Also, don’t keep your toothbrush in a gross cup or throw it in a drawer. Let it air dry standing up. And if you’ve been sick? Toss it.

That’s it. Clean teeth = fresh vibes.
